Our best work is for projects we can “get behind”. This means creative, challenging work and/or projects that are good for humans and their environment.

About Malcolm

Malcolm van Delst is an award-winning, cross platform designer. Her expertise spans internet, publishing, TV and film.

Today, she mainly focuses on online design and development; however, her experience includes graphic design, writing, illustration, photography and filmmaking.

She has an English Literature degree from McMaster University, and diplomas in computer graphics, multimedia, and integrated media from various institutions, including Emily Carr Institute – for whom she later taught.

Originally hailing from Ottawa and currently based in Vancouver, Malcolm works with a host of high-profile, international clients ranging from Sony Music to CBC and Car Free Vancouver to Open Web Vancouver.

In addition to wielding her creative skills for passionate clients, Malcolm is an avid reader, dancer and cyclist.

If you don’t know where to start – or if you do, but need some guidance, I can help. I’ve been working, and playing, online for over a decade. Starting with CiTR radio’s music magazine, progressing through countless sites, logos, photographs and short films, to now, where I’m going back to my creative roots, I can advise you and bring your business or ideas online. With over a decade of experience creating websites, logos, photos and photo illustrations, videos, blogposts and sound tracks, I understand both visual and story design. Technology

I’ve been writing HTML, CSS, PHP and JQuery, the basics of modern web design, for about 10 years. I’ve worked with popular content management system, Drupal for about eight years and WordPress for about five. If you’re game, I want to try out Bootstrap for my next project.
